Inside Microsoft program now available in Germany

Microsoft Germany has recently announced the local launch of Inside Microsoft, a program that’s specifically aimed at fans who want to get early access to new products and get in touch with company officials.

Microsoft is betting big on getting closer to users from all over the world, and that’s actually the purpose of its Insider programs in the first place. The Windows Insider effort, for example, has millions of participants already, who contribute to the development of Windows 10 by installing preview builds and providing feedback to the company.

As far as Inside Microsoft is concerned, this isn’t necessarily an insider program, but a campaign that gives fans and even company employees the chance to meet and try out new products, while also discussing ways to improve services and devices.

Furthermore, as WindowsArea reports, Microsoft will provide tips and tricks for devices, while the most active participants would be invited to exclusive fan events where they would get the chance to try out products before everyone else.

Does this mean that members could get access to the Surface Phone before we do? Probably not, but hopefully yes, and we’re okay with it as long as Microsoft does launch a Surface Phone.

The first fan event as part of the Inside Microsoft program will take place in Berlin on February 23, and Microsoft has also announced the second one in Munich on March 9.

Without a doubt, this kind of events certainly help Microsoft get closer to its users, especially because it gives them access to products and information that they wouldn’t normally discover.

And given the fact that Microsoft has already prepared several exciting projects for this year, including the unveiling of new devices (such as the Surface Pro 5 and the Surface Book 2), as well as major updates for Windows 10, there’s no doubt that interest in joining the program is quite huge.
