Great news of Android fans in India, as InFocus, the US-based company that brought Indians the M810 high-end smartphone, is now back with yet another flagship.

According to a new report, InFocus M812 has been officially introduced in India but will not go on sale until September.

Customers willing to wait until then should know that the smartphone won't come cheap since it's the most advanced Android smartphone launched by InFocus in India.

That being said, InFocus M812 will be available for purchase in India starting September for Rs 19,999 outright, which is about $315 or €285.

Unlike the predecessor, the M812 features an anodized aluminum unibody design and is only 7.38mm thin, which makes it quite stylish.

Unfortunately, InFocus M812 packs quite obsolete hardware components inside, which might be a problem for many customers used with only the latest technology to be included in flagship smartphones.

The chipset inside is awfully old

Even though the M812 comes with 3GB of RAM inside, the smartphone is powered by a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 (MSM8974AC) processor, just like the predecessor model.

The good news is the high-end device packs 16GB of internal memory, which can be further expanded up to 64GB via microSD card slot.

On the back, there's a 13-megapixel photo snapper with autofocus, true tone LED flash and video recording, while in the front there's a no less impressive 8-megapixel camera for selfies and video calls.

InFocus M812 sports a large 5.5-inch capacitive touchscreen display that supports full HD (1080p) resolution. It comes with Android 5.0 Lollipop operating system right out of the box and offers both dual-SIM and 4G LTE support.

Last but not least, InFocus' flagship smartphone is powered by a 2,900 mAh battery, which has yet to be rated by the manufacturer.
