InFocus is a US-based company that's well known in the DLP and LCD projectors business, but the brand is active in the smartphone and tablet industry as well.

Some of the cheap Android smartphones and tablets launched by InFocus are now available in China, India, and other emerging markets.

According to a new report, the latest addition to InFocus India's portfolio of Android smartphones is called M810 and it will soon be available for purchase in the country.

Despite what its name might suggest, InFocus M810 is not equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 octa-core processor. However, the smartphone does come with a Qualcomm chipset inside, though it's an older Snapdragon 801 quad-core CPU clocked at 2.5GHz.

Also, the handset is equipped with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal memory, which can be further expanded up to 64GB via microSD card slot.

Lollipop and 4G LTE support are included, too

The M810 sports a decent 5.5-inch capacitive touchscreen display that supports full HD (1080p) resolution, but no Corning Gorilla Glass coating.

On the back, InFocus' smartphone packs a 13-megapixel photo snapper with Sony Exmor R sensor, autofocus, true tone LED flash and video recording, while in the front there's a secondary 5-megapixel camera for selfies and video calls.

Other highlights of the M810 include dual-SIM and 4G LTE support, along with USB On-the-Go (OTG), Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS with AGPS. It's also worth mentioning that the smartphone is powered by a 2,600 mAh battery, which has yet to be rated by the manufacturer.

According to InFocus, the M810 will ship with Android 5.0 Lollipop operating system right out of the box, along with InLife UI on top.

InFocus M810 has been confirmed to arrive in India on July 15. The smartphone will be exclusively available via Amazon India for Rs 14,999, which is about $235 or €215. It will only sell in gold color option.
