US-based company InFocus has just released yet another affordable Android smartphone in India, the M370. The new device will be available for purchase beginning October 9, so customers will have to wait a few more days to be able to buy it.

Speaking of which, InFocus M370 will be exclusively available via Snapdeal for only Rs 5,999 outright, which is about $90 or €80, a new report confirms.

Keep in mind that customers will have to register their interest on Snapdeal until October 8, 8PM, before the sale kicks off on October 9.

InFocus M370 is not the first and won't be the last Android smartphone launched by the US-based company in India.

Spec-wise, the M370 is an entry-level handset that ships with Android 5.1.1 Lollipop operating system right out of the box. The device comes with both dual-SIM and 4G LTE support as well.

It boasts InLife UI on top of Lollipop

When it comes to hardware, InFocus M370 has been confirmed to pack a 64-bit 1.1GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 210 processor, an Adreno 304 graphics processing unit, and 1GB of RAM.

In addition, the smartphone packs only 8GB of internal memory, which can be further expanded up to 64GB via microSD card slot.

On the back, InFocus M370 features an 8-megapixel photo snapper with autofocus, LED flash and video recording, while on the front, there's a modest 2-megapixel camera for selfies and video calls.

The M370 is powered by a 2,230mAh battery and packs a wide range of connectivity options including Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, microUSB 2.0 and GPS with AGPS.

“Today’s tech-savvy youth are glued to their smartphone, engaging in endless chats and conversations. However, with generic emoticons that come pre-loaded with the device, chatting becomes impersonal, ambiguous and often loses the real expression.”

“Traditionally, our faces has been the source of all expressions and with the new feature on InFocus M370, users can turn their faces into stickers, adding a completely new dimension to this phenomenon, making chat more fun, personal and lively,” said Sachin Thapar, Country Head, InFocus India
