Samsung is preparing to launch yet another smartphone in the Galaxy On series, the upcoming Galaxy On8. Indian retailer Flipkart has just teased the device for one of its promotional events set to start on October 2. This could mean that the Galaxy On8 might be announced around the same date.

Flipkart’s listing was spotted by GSMArena and it does reveal some specs of the upcoming smartphone. The Galaxy On8 will come with a Full HD AMOLED display, and it will have a metallic rim that seems to resemble the Galaxy J5 and J7 released this year.

No other details are revealed in the listing, but the Galaxy On8 is expected to come with a large battery, since the other devices in the series do feature batteries that have a reasonable capacity.

It also has 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal memory, which can be expanded to 256GB. The smartphone’s rear camera capacity reaches 13MP, while the front camera comes with 9MP and f/1.9 aperture. It has a fingerprint scanner embedded in the home button and runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow. Battery capacity is 3,300mAh and features fast charging tools.
