Lenovo has a strong presence at IFA 2015 trade fair, as the Chinese company unveiled quite a few products that will be available for purchase in the coming months.

Beside laptops, tablets and other electronic devices, Lenovo also introduced two products that can hardly be put in the “phablets” category.

Lenovo Phab and Phab Plus come with 7-inch and 6.8-inch display, respectively, so we can rather refer to them as small tablets than phablets. But the Chinese company thinks otherwise, so let's see what these phablets have to offer in terms of specs.

Before moving on to the actual specs, it's worth mentioning that Lenovo Phab Plus has been officially unveiled in China a few days ago.

Still, Europeans and those who attend IFA 2015 trade fair will now be able to take both phablets for a spin when visiting Lenovo's booth.

So, the Phab comes with dual-SIM support and 4G LTE support. It boasts a huge 7-inch IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen display that supports HD (720p) resolution.

The device is equipped with a 64-bit quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, 1GB of RAM and 16GB of internal memory, which can be further expanded up to 64GB via microSD card slot.

It ships with Android 5.0 Lollipop operating system right out of the box and features a large 4,250 mAh battery inside.

Ridiculous or fabulous?

Lenovo Phab packs a 13-megapixel camera on the back, which features autofocus, LED flash and video recording, while in the front there's a secondary 5-megapixel camera. The phablet includes Dolby Atmos 3D Surround Sound support.

Next in line, Lenovo Phab Plus sports a slightly smaller 6.8-inch IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen display that supports full HD (1080p) resolution.

The phone is powered by a 64-bit octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor, 2GB of RAM and 32GB of internal memory expandable up to 128GB via microSD card slot.

The same 13-megapixel front-facing camera and 5-megapixel secondary camera combo is packed inside the Lenovo Phab Plus as well.

The Phab Plus is powered by a 3,500 mAh battery and includes the same Dolby Atmos 3D Surround Sound technology.

According to Lenovo, the Phab will be available in Q4 for $180, while the Phab Plus should go on sale in time for the Christmas season for around $300 outright.
