Alcatel OneTouch, the Chinese handset maker, has a discrete presence at IFA 2015 trade fair, but that doesn't mean the company has nothing new to showcase at its booth.

The new OneTouch Pop Up and Pop Star smartphones have just been officially unveiled and they will probably be available by the end of the year.

Since Alcatel did not share any details on pricing options and availability, we can't say for sure when they will launch on the market and how much they'll cost.

Alcatel OneTouch Pop Star is likely to be the cheapest of the two since it packs a 64-bit 1GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6753P processor, 1GB of RAM and 16GB of storage, which can be further expanded up to 128GB via microSD card.

The smartphone sports a 5-inch capacitive touchscreen display that supports HD (720p) resolution.

Also, on the back, the OneTouch Pop Star packs an 8-megapixel camera with autofocus, LED flash and video recording, while in the front there's a secondary 5-megapixel selfie camera.

The OneTouch Pop Star is powered by a 2,000 mAh battery and offers 4G LTE support, among other connectivity options.

All three smartphones are expected to arrive by year's end

According to Alcatel, a 3G version of OneTouch Pop Star will be released as well. This particular version will be equipped with a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6580 processor, 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal memory expandable up to 64GB via microSD card.

The rest of the phone's specs are similar to those of the 4G model, so expect a 5-inch HD display, 8-megapixel rear-facing camera, 5-megapixel front camera and 2,000 mAh battery.

Moving on to OneTOuch Pop Up, this mid-range smartphone is powered by a 1.4GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 610 processor and 2GB of RAM.

It also packs 16GB storage, which can be expanded up to 128GB. The smartphone sports a 5-inch capacitive touchscreen display that supports HD (720p) resolution.

On the back, there's a 13-megapixel camera with f/2.0 aperture, autofocus, LED flash and full HD (1080p) video recording, while in the front there's a secondary 5-megapixel camera.

All three Alcatel OneTouch smartphones ship with Android Lollipop operating system right out of the box and offer dual-SIM support.
