Concept imagines a bigger version of the iPhone X

The iPhone X launch with a 5.8-inch AMOLED display, and this makes it a direct rival to the Samsung Galaxy S8, so when it comes to bigger phones, Apple buyers are pretty much out of luck.

Right now, the iPhone X has the biggest display in the iPhone range, with the iPhone 8 Plus, despite being bigger overall due to the huge bezels, still having a screen of just 5.5 inches.

Samsung, on the other hand, has a model for everyone, and if the 5.8-inch display of the Galaxy S8 isn’t the one that’s right for you, there are always options number two and three in the form of the Galaxy S8+ and Note 8 which feature 6.2- and 6.3-inch displays, respectively.

iPhone X Plus coming next year?

While we’re heard rumors that Apple might be planning a bigger version of the iPhone X, most likely to be marketed as “Plus,” the company hasn’t provided a single hint this is indeed considered.

And since this idea makes so much sense, concept designer Martin Hajek created his very own renders imagining what an iPhone X Plus would look like as compared to the existing model.

As you can see for yourselves, there’s little difference between the two, though the Plus model would come with a massive 6.7-inch display. This would make it even bigger than the Note 8, but not too big overall thanks to the no-bezel approach that has apparently become the main concern for all device manufacturers worldwide.

A Plus-sized iPhone X is not totally out of the table right now, as Apple has been rumored to be working on two different OLED models for the 2018 lineup. If the company indeed sticks with the “classic” 4.7- and 5.5-inch models with LCD displays, then the new version will almost certainly be a bigger iPhone X that would be specifically aimed at tackling the phablet market with a bezel-less design.
