Apple has begun informing developers that iWork for iCloud Beta is now available on Mac and Windows PC in-browser, via the company’s cloud service.

The email from Apple reads, “iWork for iCloud beta now available,” followed by a lowdown of the features offered on both Mac and PC using a modern web browser.

Apple Developer Program members are among the first to use the beta of iWork for iCloud.

All they need to do to get started is simply visit beta.icloud.com with a fresh version of Safari, Chrome, or Internet Explorer, and sign in with the Apple ID associated with their Apple Developer Program account.

As you may have already guessed, iWork for iCloud works on Windows PCs too. In case you were wondering why Microsoft wasn’t bringing Office to the iPad, or why Apple wasn’t coding a Windows-native version of iWork, now you know – the cloud is where all platforms live in peace and harmony.
