Image Entertainment makes films and television programming available on the iTunes Store, and has recently expanded its digital distribution business with a wide assortment of Image programming available on iTunes for purchase or rent. This includes feature films, episodic television, stand-up comedy specials, music and special interest programs. Read on for the new titles available on iTunes.

Among the top selling stand-up comedy programs making their debut on iTunes are "Jeff Dunham: Spark of
Insanity" and "Jim Gaffigan: Beyond the Pale", says the official Image Entertainment report. Feature films include Sidney Lumet's "Before the Devil Knows You're Dead" and "Suburban Girl" starring Sarah Michelle Gellar and Alec Baldwin. As far as TV programs / shows go, "The Dick Van Dyke Show" and "I Spy," IMAX specials like "Dolphins" and "Amazon" and a variety of music titles including "Notorious B.I.G.: Bigger Than Life" and "Tupac Shakur: Thug Angel" are some of Image Entertainment's assortment of available TV shows.

The company specializes in the licensing, producing and distributing of home entertainment programming in North America, with approximately 3,500 exclusive DVD titles, around 370 exclusive CD titles in domestic release and about 600 programs internationally via sublicense agreements. Image has exclusive audio and broadcast rights for many of its titles, as well as digital download rights to approximately 2,000 video programs and over 300 audio programs containing more than 4,500 tracks, through its subsidiary Egami Media, Inc.

"Image has built a credible and growing digital market presence and we are excited about having our diverse library of programming available on iTunes," said SVP Digital Operations, Burgess Wilson. "Digital is the ultimate distribution mechanism for companies like Image when a deep catalog like ours doesn't get the same presence in traditional brick and mortar retail as it does at digital retail."

Visit the iTunes Store to rent or buy Image Entertainment-licensed shows and films.
