Using the iPhone Dev Center’s section for developer News and Announcements, Apple has confirmed the availability of a new feature in iTunes Connect – application search. The function lists the last ten modified apps and provides information like name, Apple ID and status. The search function also lets developers know how the approval process is going.

iTunes Connect is a developer-centered service that provides access to tools and resources for the distribution of iPhone and iPod touch applications through the iTunes App Store.
These include application delivery, application-management tools, sales information, banking setup, and financial reporting.

Apple’s announcement says, “New App Search Capability in iTunes Connect.” The Mac maker then proceeds to explain exactly what it has done to improve the developers’ experience.

“The Manage Your Applications module in iTunes Connect has been enhanced to assist you in quickly finding your apps,” the company headquartered in Cupertino, California says. “When you select the Manage Your Application module, you'll find a summary of your last 10 modified apps and a search area that allows you to look up your other apps by name, Apple ID, or status. This will allow you to easily locate your apps by state, such as Ready for Sale or In Review,” Apple explains.

“In addition, the application detail view provides you with the ability to preview your app in the App Store and provides you with any Crash Reports for your application. Log in to iTunes Connect to view these new enhancements,” the announcement ends.

Last week, Apple announced via its iPhone Dev Center that devs could now update their banking information on iTunes Connect. Those subscribed for using the service with the Admin or Finance roles can now make changes to the banking information used to deposit App Store payments, according to the Mac maker.
