If you’ve bought an iPhone, an iPod, or an iPad, there’s no doubt that you’re running iTunes, no matter if we’re talking about Windows or Mac OS X computers. And you’re not alone, of course, since there are millions of iDevices out there.

Today, Apple has rolled out an updated version of iTunes for Windows users and, although the company hasn’t provided us with an official changelog for this build, it’s most likely safe to assume that it brings bug fixes and performance improvements that help provide a much smoother experience.

iTunes 11.3.1.2 continues to support all Windows versions on the market, including the old Windows XP, even though Microsoft stopped releasing updates and security patches for this OS version.

There are no visual improvements to this particular iTunes build, so after installing it, you might not notice anything new, but most of the changes are made under the hood for enhanced performance and reliability.

Of course, everyone running it already is recommended to get the new version, so go ahead and download iTunes 11.3.1.2 for Windows right away to make sure that any possible bugs are fixed. We have download links for both 32- and 64-bit Windows builds, so make sure that you’re getting the right version.
