If you're scared of someone wirelessly and cowardly tapping-in on you, better take a look at this...pen. Using Radio Frequency detection, it can protect you from wireless (pen shaped) spying cameras. This Signal Detection Pen can probably stop your neighbour piggybacking on your
wireless.

The silver colored device uses the 4th generation RF (Radio Frequency) broad-brand wireless detecting technology. It allows you to detect wireless signals (band between 100 M-3000 MHZ) and it's very effective against spying devices which require wireless signals transitions. If you observe a colorful frequent flashing light at the tip of the pen, then you should know that you're not the only one that knows something. The closer you are to the wireless spying source, the more frequent the flashing will be. So, be sure to carry it through every single corner of the house.

You can also use it as a bill-tester. If a particular bill looks awkward, just push the button on the side of the pen and use its Ultraviolet light to check for counterfeit currency by detecting the watermark. It has a built-in protection to prevent mobile phone interference. The gadget features a 3 LR41 battery that will last for two months (that's in standby mode, of course).

Anyway, even if you own an anti-spying gadget like this one, it doesn't mean spying spells will not work on you. It has a detection radius of 1-10 meters (depending on signal strength) and can "catch" wireless signals of 900/1200/1300 and 2400/2600/3000 MHZ. Vavolo sells this online for just 11,99$.

We are just a few, but there are many of you, Softpedia users, out there. Interesting links are bound to be posted with recognition going mainly to those who submit. The address is .

Question:

Is the "wireless signal" detected by the pen standard 802.11?

I'm unfamiliar with "camera signals" and suspect that a wireless signal is a wireless signal.

Maybe I'm wrong.

Please get back to me when you have a chance.

Thanks.

Bill
