iStock 1.5.3 Fixes Bugs, Adds Online Help

iStock, developed by danholt4mac, has reached version 1.5.3. This latest release of the stock and portfolio management tool for Mac OS X fixes a variety of bugs, including non visible quotes from Yahoo! France and help language issues.

iStock assists users in keeping track of their favorite stocks and personal portfolio. According to dnholt4mac, the software automatically retrieves the latest quotes from the Internet and displays this information in a simple user interface, making it highly convenient to use. iStock also boasts some powerful monitoring abilities, which makes it possible for users to keep track of their portfolios of shares, including calculation of gain or loss in local currency. All they have to do is set the regional monetary system, and iStock will do the rest of the heavy work. A full list of fixes included in the program is available below.

· Problem with non visible quotes from Yahoo! France fixed.
· Problem with non visible quotes from Yahoo! Italy fixed.
· Problem with non visible quotes from Yahoo! Spain fixed.
· Overlay-Function in Chart-View re-implemented and working again.
· Currencies will now be updated automatically, in accordance with the settings chosen in the preferences menu.
· Chart-graphics now fit in the drawer, and will no longer be partially hidden.
· French online help implemented.
· Spanish online help implemented.
· Chinese online help implemented.
· Numbers of stocks held in portfolios can now be edited directly in the table view.

Registered iStock users can download and install the new version of the software for free, while a new user license costs 16.80 EUR (around 20 bucks). As usual, a demo version can be acquired on our website, in which all features are enabled. However, there's a limit to the total number of stocks you can monitor, namely ten.
