Ladies and gentlemen, raise your hats, because it's almost here! The iRiver B20 is going to be available for us starting next year. This is the newest version of the B10 and it's available on the market in 2GB or 4GB. Whether you want to view an NBA game or some Wimbledon entertainment, the portable DMB TV seems to be a nice alternative to heavy and bulky devices.

For those of you who didn't know, Reigncom is the company behind the famous iRiver. The patent company announced in May 2006 that it would adjust its focus on handheld mobile gaming, but it seems it does even better when it comes to portable TVs.

In fact, the new iRiver item is small enough to fit in the palm of your hand. As some might find the music insufficient, the manufacturers added the popular FM receiver, not to mention the audio capabilities, which include MP3, WMA and OGG file formats, as well as the ability to play Flash games on the device, while commuting, attending boring classes or waiting your turn at the beauty parlor.

On the outside, apart from the black compact design, the DMB TV sports a 2.4 inch QVGA resolution TFT display. Regarding the player's dimensions, it sports a 80.9 x 49.5 x 16.3 mm size, weighs 76 grams and comes in black or white color versions. As playing video content is its major bonus, the player is capable of reading MPEG-4 and WMV9 file formats.

The iRiver B20 features a miniSD memory slot for storing media, or expanding the player's memory. It shouldn't come as a surprise that the digital broadcasting across Chine is going to become a reality soon, as the country is preparing for the Olympic Games, so the B20 is going to be the high tech star of the year.

The B20 player is the improved version of the B10 DMB player. Surprisingly, the previous version of the DBM TV was launched to coincide with the FIFA WORLD CUP, and this (the improved version, that is) will be launched to coincide with the 2008 Olympics. That's a great marketing plan!

As for the pricing and availability, we have the day: 25 APril 2008 and an unofficial price of EUR165 for a 2GB player and EUR 200 for the 4Gb version. Though as we've already said, there's nothing official yet.
