iQunix OS, a Linux operating system based on the popular Ubuntu 12.04 (Precise Pangolin) distribution, with an unique design and with nothing pre-installed, is now at version 12.04.

iQunix 12.04 is based on Unity, a bold move from the developers. Unity is usually ditched and replaced with other desktop environments, but this is not the case with iQunix.

Another interesting application used in this distribution is JetBrowser, a simple and secure Internet browser, instead of Mozilla Firefox.

IQunix 12.04 also comes with Gedit, a basic but powerful text editor, and Remastersys, an application that is mainly used for backups.

The operating system is only available for the 64-bit platform. A complete list of changes and features can be found in the official announcement. Download IQunix 12.04 right now from Softpedia.
