The system streams internet radio also

Denon is known for its electronic devices, therefore it shouldn't come as a surprise that it finally decided to add an iPod dock to its portfolio. And this ain't just any type of docking station, but one that can also be connected to other devices. For reasons unknown, Denon has codenamed the item, ASD-3W, instead of giving it a nice name. The best thing about it is the fact that, beside hooking up to your iPod, it can also connect to your favorite Denon kit, as well as stream Internet radio, straight to your personal home stereo, since it features the cool WiFi capability, so common these days.

Here's another interesting aspect about the device: the tracks can be controlled using an onscreen interface, from the same producing company, meaning it will nicely display the album art, some details about the tracks, as well as other info that the user might find useful.

Regarding the system's capabilities, it can deal with most of the file formats available on the market, such as WMA, AAC, MP3, WAV, FLAC for audio files, while the photos are strictly limited to JPEG format only. No video playback, I am afraid!

It's so nice to know that the lazy ones can use the included remote control that comes in the same package! Apart from this, the ASD-3W also comes in a Wi-Fi less version, which is being marketed under another name, such as ASD-3N, which maintains the same features.

Regarding the pricing and availability details, I have no idea how much this is going to cost, but I know that the Denon ASD-3W will be released sometime next month.

Come on, it ain't that much time! Thanks Pocket-lint and Ubergizmo for the photos!
