According to Google Website Trends, Compete and Quantcast, the Official TomCruise web site is the most visited official male movie star site on the Web. Therefore, an iPhone-compatible version of the site was in order (someone decided).

The iPhone friendly version of the site is pretty much identical to the desktop version, except for a hefty retrospective film career that hits you right in the face before you can click on any of the buttons. However, since some parts of the “big” site were not suitable for the iPhone's small screen, more changes had to be made. This YouTube video demonstration of the site in action reveals more.

For those who don't keep up with the trends, TomCruise.com is the official website for film star and producer Tom Cruise. It contains a wealth of career and film information, video, pictures, as well as a personal greeting from the famous actor himself. A genuine report reveals that “the iPhone version of the official Tom Cruise web site allows iPhone visitors to view an exclusive Tom Cruise 25-year career retrospective video reel of movie clips and register for website updates.”

The celebratory retrospective film career video includes clips from many of the Tom Cruise movies over the last 25 years, such as Taps, Outsiders, Risky Business, All The Right Moves, Legend, Top Gun, The Color of Money, Cocktail, Rain Man, Born on the 4th of July, Days of Thunder, Far and Away, A Few Good Men, The Firm, Interview with a Vampire, Mission Impossible, Jerry Maguire, Eyes Wide Shut, Magnolia, Mission Impossible II, Vanilla Sky, Minority Report, The Last Samurai, Collateral, War of the Worlds, Mission Impossible III, and Lions for Lambs.

As an iPhone owner, you are also eligible for a subscription to get web site updates. The iPhone focused-Tom Cruise official site acts as “the latest evidence of the site's commitment to integrating cutting edge technology with many more surprises planned to follow,” the same report reads.
