From T-Mobile

The iPhone is unanimously (or almost) recognized as one of the hottest handsets to make its way into the market in 2007, therefore it came for prices that cannot be seen as "accessible" by most of the mobile users. But this was at the beginning and, since the handset's launching, Apple, as well as the operators offering the phone, constantly lowered its selling price.

Now consumers have the chance to buy an iPhone for just 99 Euros (a bit over $150), as the sleek device is offered at this price by T-Mobile Germany. Of course, the 99 Euro price tag is only associated with the most expensive data plan from the German carrier: Complete XL, which will drain 89 Euros ($138) from your pockets every single month. But for those who need this plan anyway, the new offer is really a good bargain. T-Mobile also cut-off iPhone prices for its other data plans, offering the handset for 149, 199 and respectively 246 Euros. However, this is only for the 8GB iPhone, hence the 16GB one still comes for a pretty hefty 499 Euro price.

While these new reduced prices will only make German mobile users happy, it's still a good sign for all the other countries where Apple's handset is available, as it means that they can also expect important price cut-offs.

Anyway, I'm waiting for the day when the iPhone will be offered for free. This might come soon, especially since the 3G 16GB iPhone is around the corner and the non-3G 8GB one will probably be wanted less than Britney Spears. Meaning by almost no one, unless it comes for 0 (zero) bucks. Although I'm not sure who would want Britney, even for free, as she doesn't even offer 8GB of storage space.
