iPhone hacker “Comex,” known in the iWorld as the creator of the JailbreakMe applications, left Apple because he forgot to reply to an email.

Comex wrote on his Twitter account that he had decided to quit his job at the Cupertino-based company, without providing too much information on the reason.

“So...no point in delaying. As of last week, after about a year, I'm no longer associated with Apple,” he wrote to his 196,000+ followers.

“Now I feel like a big damn drama queen,” he tweeted a few hours later, again without providing too many details.

Comex is the famous creator of the JailbreakMe applications that can automatically jailbreak Apple iPhones with minimum user input.

While Apple doesn’t quite agree with this practice because it’s only the first step towards installing unlicensed content on its devices, many iPhone and iPad owners do it, especially to get rid of Apple’s restrictions.
