TuneWiki Ltd. has released an incredible media player application for
iPhone and iPod touch that allows users to browse and play their existing playlists, while getting album art and lyrics for free, over the air, instantly. The app also makes YouTube suggestions based on what one's listening to, and has built-in radio streaming, these being just the key features of this free app.
“TuneWiki, one of our favorite mobile apps, is finally in the App Store in a non-gimped way with full access to your iTunes library (if you close it, it keeps playing through iPod even, like a fake background app),” Louis says on the TuneWiki
forums.
“You get subtitled lyrics (with translations), music maps showing where people are listening to what, internet radio, video search and you can 'blip' what you're listening to Twitter, Facebook or wherever kids hang out these days. The screenshots below depict TuneWiki instantly finding and fetching artwork and lyrics for the current playing song (1), suggesting YouTube videos that you may like, based on what you're listening to (2), and streaming your favorite radio station for free, as long as you have an internet connection (3).
