A product named “iPhone Dev Secrets” hopes to attract amateur developers to create an app in four weeks and “hit pay dirt with it in the App Store with no programming skills.”

Reminiscent of all the jailbreak/unlock scams that we’ve reported on for the past couple of years, appdevsecrets.com advertises a so-called miraculous manual that contains secrets to coding a successful app.

The product name offered in the so-called press release differs from the one touted on appdevsecrets.com, as well as the one displayed on the purchase page.

An enticing video is also offered, where a developer purportedly shows his earnings in iTunes connect.

The description is also a standard one for sites that try to get on your good side until you pull out the plastic.

Let me ask you this…

Have you ever dreamed of creating your own great game or application for iPhone or iPad with no programming skills in just 4 weeks and hit pay dirt with it in the App Store?

But first let me put the money where my mouth is. Let me login to my apple developer account in real time and show the latest sales.

Check out the live proof video where I will login to my developer account in real time and show how I made $ 63,896.21 USD last month selling my iPhone Apps & Games!

A 30-day trial is said to cost a buck (which already sounds fishy), and you’re asked for your credit card information at every pace, even before you can realize what you’re buying.

Always be wary of deals that sound too good to be true, and don’t buy into every site that says it offers a money back guarantee.

Plain words surrounded by “Add to Cart” buttons are, by no means, any form of guarantee.

While appdevsecrets.com could well be a legitimate business, it's very likely that their product contains nothing but general iOS development tips that you could just as well receive by word of mouth. If they even keep their promise and send you a copy, that is.
