The latest (and quite possibly the coolest) Kickstarter project, the Devium Dash promises to turn your iPhone into your very own car stereo. You just slide in your phone and tap away.

Dash is a patent pending technology. Its inventors describe it as “the convergence of the car stereo and your smartphone.” In other words, you don’t have to learn anything new to use it.

The awesome piece of hardware you see pictured above features subwoofer output, video out to external displays, an FM tuner and more.

With 104 backers, the project has raised $22,458 (of a $45,000 goal), and has 43 more days to go, which means there’s a good chance this thing will hit the market by summer - the perfect time to pimp out your ride.
