A 1080p HD or 240-fps camera can do wonders with video

Apple's new iPhone 6 models have a less publicized feature: shooting video at 1080p resolution at 60 fps and 720p at 240 frames per second. You can either turn this into a slo-mo video or a time lapse. The shooting is all done within the Camera app, and you can watch the result right away.

Apple is bragging about having the best camera so far included in the new iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus. The sensor has the same 8 megapixels, but it introduces Focus Pixels, improved face detection and exposure control. That means, the camera will focus faster while on the move.

Another great feature that was included in the iPhone 6 Plus only is optical image stabilization. When you hand is shaking, the phone can detect that and it will adjust the lens automatically to make up for that motion. It is the same way a DSLR lens works when it has to deal with movement. Apple says the new feature works with the A8 chip, gyroscope and the M8 motion coprocessor.

Now the video camera is impressive. Continuous autofocus and cinematic video stabilizations won't mean anything with the creative work of many. Make sure to watch the videos below to discover the beauty of the footage an iPhone 6 or iPhone 6 Plus can get.
