Here's how the new iPhone 6 and 6 Plus cases look like

Apple forgot about bumpers and has launched new cases this year, together with the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus. To cover a device considered new and beautiful is an un-Apple like move. However, they decided to do it and launched the cases in different colors and fabrics.

The leather case is being described as a premium accessory. It is made of hand-selected leather treated with high-quality aniline dye. As expected, Apple thinks the leather fits perfectly on the curved form of iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus, and they made sure to use a color-matched microfiber interior to keep your phone scratch-free.

The leather case comes in black, red, blue, brown and soft pink. For the iPhone 6 you have to pay $45 (€34.72), while the iPhone 6 Plus version is a little bit more expensive at $49 (€37.80).

Apple has used the same materials as for the iPad Smart Case and Smart Cover. Those are pretty good compared to everything else on the market.

If you are looking for a Silicone Case, Apple has got you covered too. The so-called custom-fit silicon cases are slim and they protect the new iPhone 6 models. The 4.7-inch one is $35 (€27.00) and the one for iPhone 6 Plus will set you back $39 (€30.09). They come in black, white, pink, blue, green and red.

Some of the iPhone users who placed an order for a case are lucky. They have received their products before the iOS devices even shipped. Take a look at our photo gallery for some non-marketing images.
