Patents and rumors come from all over the place these days.

Apple patent applications and information from Chinese suppliers or manufacturers get analyzed right away and presented as a fact. So, please take the below with a grain of salt.

This piece of news comes from a Chinese mobile phone info website. The source cites people familiar with Apple's plans saying that the next-generation iPhone 6 will have a new motor installed. It will be a way to provide tactile feedback so that the user can actually feel when he/she touches a button. The little vibration is going to have different intensity depending on the area of the touch screen that the user taps on.

The report goes on saying that the feedback motor costs around $1.80 – three times more than the one in the iPhone 5s.

According to macrumors, Apple did file a patent on haptic feedback back in 2009, but so far, none of the iPhone, iPads or Macs has received such a feature.

The iPhone 6 is rumored to have a larger case and a 4.7" display. Other supply chain info suggests that there will be a phablet sized 5.5" iPhone as well, which may be released later this year on in 2015.
