If this is real, the feature iPhone will bring some new capabilities

The french blog Nowhereelse.fr has got their hands on some new internal pictures of the iPhone 6. We do not have any confirmation that these parts are in fact the real deal. However, one of the technologies has long been avoided by Apple and it makes no sense to include it now.

NFC (Near Field Communication) chips have been included in Android Phones for a while. The perspective of NFC for information and payments was a good idea in the beginning, but it started to fade away pretty quick because companies and supermarkets were not adopting it. When Apple introduced AirDrop and iBeacon, NFC had its first nail in the coffin. Even now, it doesn't make any sense for Apple to include a power hungry chip in the next iPhone.

French blog Nowhereelse.fr has received some photos with what it looks like the logic board of the iPhone 6. They believe the source for this leak is usually reliable, but there's no telling if the parts are indeed from the next iPhone 6. The source noticed the logic board looks similar to the one in iPhone 5s with a few little changes. The bracket is longer than the previous generation one and whet we see here matches the design of the rear-shell casings we've seen so far.

The same source claims that the next generation iPhone model (internally referred to as N61) will include NFC and a much faster 802.11ac WiFi Chip.

The latter is not that far fetched. Apple has already started making devices with the new faster WiFi standard. The AirPort Extreme and the Time Capsule are just some of the new gadgets that support the three times faster type of network. The AirPort Extreme is described as being capable to reach data rates of up to 1.3 Gbps. That means the WiFi in your location is 3 times faster than with a 802.11n WiFi router.

Having a device that supports such a standard can help it connect to networks that are further away.

The iPhone 6 is supposedly going to be released this fall with Apple announcing it on September 19th and launching the device a week later, on September 25th. The device will most probably have a 4.7 inch diagonal display and it may get a a sapphire coated, scratch resistant screen.

So far we have seen multiple parts, including the case and internals of the future device. All were leaked from Apple's partners in China.
