The silver version of the smartphone seems to have been caught on camera

With just a few hours left until Apple’s main event of the year is scheduled to kick off, new photos allegedly showing the 4.7-inch version of the iPhone 6 have just leaked online.

Several pictures showing the silver colored iPhone 6 have been published by French blog Nowhereelse, but there’s a catch. According the cited source, these pictures seemed to be fake due to some graphical inadvertencies, but in light of the new photos leaked online in the last couple of hours, they now seem to be legit.

Even though the source of the leaked pictures is still skeptical whether or not they are valid, it decided to publish them anyway after they compared it with other leaked photos.

However, we recommend our readers to take these with a pinch of salt until Apple makes the iPhone 6 official, though until then you can revel in these new photos showing the “magical” flagship smartphone.

The new photos does not seem to bring anything new, which means some of the previous pictures leaked last earlier this month might have been legit as well.

iPhone 6 will be available in white, grey, silver and gold

Apple has the same design approach when it comes to iPhone 6, so expect the smartphone to feature the same two stripes on the upper and lower parts of the back cover. The protruding camera on the upper left on the back cover and the LED flash are also visible in these pictures.

The smartphone will feature rounded edges, just like the previous models, but iPhone 6 will obviously be larger. It will be available in silver, white, grey and gold sometime around September 19.

We also expect Apple to announce both 4.7-inch and 5.5-inch versions of iPhone 6 today, but for the time being it’s unclear whether or not they will both be launched on the market at the same time.

The good news is we won’t have to wait too long to find out all these details about Apple’s next flagship smartphone. Make sure you tune in to Apple’s iPhone 6 launch event, which has been confirmed to begin at 10am PDT / 1pm EST / 5pm GMT / 8pm CET.

What do you think about iPhone 6’s design? Do you think it sets itself apart from other iPhone models or is it just a larger copy of the iPhone 5s? Share your thoughts with us in the comment section and stay tuned for more info on iPhone 6 as we get them.
