36 new, 69 for October, 115 for 2014

The announcement reads, “Apple today announced that iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus, the biggest advancements in iPhone history, will arrive in 36 additional countries and territories across Europe, Asia, the Middle East, Latin America and Africa by the end of October.”

The company adds, “iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus will be available in a total of 69 countries and territories by the end of the month and are on track to be available in more than 115 countries by the end of the year, making this the fastest iPhone rollout ever.”

Indeed this marks the first time Apple is able to get an all-new iPhone in the hands of so many users worldwide. In fact, the company is now more confident than ever that it will be able to fulfill demand much faster.

Apple posts timetable

According to the media release, iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 plus will arrive in China, India, and Monaco on Friday, October 17, in Israel on Thursday, October 23, and in the Czech Republic, French West Indies, Greenland, Malta, Poland, Reunion Island, and South Africa on Friday, October 24.

On Thursday, October 30, the handsets will arrive in Bahrain and Kuwait, and on Friday, October 31, customers in the following territories will be able to buy the phones: Albania, Bosnia, Croatia, Estonia, Greece, Guam, Hungary, Iceland, Kosovo, Latvia, Lithuania, Macau, Macedonia, Mexico, Moldova, Montenegro, Serbia, South Korea, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Ukraine, and Thailand.

Pricing

It’s hard to estimate exactly what the phones will cost in all of these countries because Apple doesn’t just convert the currencies to allow everyone to pay the same amount. There are various factors that can bring the price down or inflate it.

For example, the entry-level iPhone 6 sells for $199 in the US and goes for €199 in Europe. Convert one to the other and you’ll instantly see a considerable discrepancy.

So far, you can buy the phones in the US, Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Portugal, Puerto Rico, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan, Turkey, the UAE, the UK, and a few other countries.
