Based on leaks, rumors, and Apple's WWDC 2013 graphics, Recombu has created an interactive concept featuring iOS 7 running on the highly anticipated iPhone 5S which you can test drive in Firefox or Chrome.

Using a flatter overall UI with less glare and fewer gradients, “The home screen is largely unchanged with room for 20 icons in a 4x5 layout above a set of four permanently docked apps,” Recombu notes.

“Icons have been remastered with their gloss, strong shadows and gradients all removed giving the apps a flatter appearance,” say the creators.

Simply visit the site here and hit the Wake/Sleep button on the conceptual iPhone 5S. Don’t forget to pick your preferred color, as Apple is said to be introducing some multi-color iPhones this time around.

“While it’s unlikely that Apple will release a hot pink iPhone 5S off the bat, the idea of different coloured iPhones has been flying around for some time. As such click the colour picker underneath the phone to try out different tones,” according to the concept’s creators.

Click the iOS 7 title bar and you’ll be greeted by a redesigned (yet still conceptual) Notification Center, which now includes some handy widgets too. Apple will most likely include those in the final release of the software.

Recombu says the concept is intended not to create a stir, but rather “to be a fun way for people to interact with an idea.”

“From a technical point of view, the challenge was to build this entire concept without using any images and instead, building the iPhone, icons and apps solely out of CSS and HTML code,” the developers add.

While iOS 7 is widely expected to make an appearance at WWDC next week, the iPhone 5S (or whatever new iPhone Apple decides to unveil this year), isn’t expected to launch until fall.
