iPhone 5S, the next flagship smartphone from Apple, is not yet official, but info on its specs and design have already provided us with an idea of what to expect from it, and newly leaked photos with the device are now available for your viewing pleasure.

The handset’s logic board that was spotted earlier this week has been confirmed in the new photos, although it seems to sport a new layout for connectors, along with a narrower profile.

MacRumors, which brought the aforementioned leaked photos to the web, also notes that the main chip on the logic board doesn’t feature an A-series label as the one inside iPhone 5, and that it has been manufactured sometime in late October.

This also suggests that the phone in these images is only a prototype, though the final design of iPhone 5S is expected to remain mostly unchanged.

The smartphone’s battery is also visible with Apple Part Number 616-0652 on it and with a capacity of 5.92 Whr, up from 5.45 Whr inside iPhone 5.

A second photo of the smartphone shows its back plate, with a vertical pill-shaped LED flash, which suggests that Apple might include dual-LED flash inside iPhone 5S, just as recently leaked model schematics for the device unveiled.

Overall, the upcoming device should resemble closely the latest iPhone model from the Cupertino-based company, just as most of the previous reports on the matter suggested.

Apple is expected to make the new iPhone 5S official before the end of this year, though no specific info on when that should happen has been provided as of now.

Additionally, the smartphone is said to be accompanied by another iPhone flavor, a budget-friendly variant meant for the masses, though recent reports suggested that it might not be as cheap as many might have expected it to be.
