Apple’s iPhone 5 will undoubtedly bring a slew of features that will put competition to shame. But it’s going to be a while before it does all the cool stuff showcased in this new concept video by the talented blokes at AatmaStudio.

A bunch of CAD designers that have specialized in making surreal Apple devices 10 years ahead of their time, AatmaStudio have done it again.

This time, they’ve envisioned an iPhone that has a larger home screen (nothing too exciting there), iOS 6, fingerprint scan, a new Notification Center with Siri updates and, the killer feature, “stretchable / rubberband electronics” that allows the user to turn the device into a full-fledged tablet.

It’s 10 times cooler to watch than to put it into words, so hit the play button on the short clip embedded above, and hold your breath for the one-minute mark.

Hats off to Aatma for the video quality and execution of the 3D renderings, and thanks @ipadfever91 for the tip.
