14 DAY TRIAL // Apple fans in Alaska will be glad to learn that General Communication, Inc. (GCI), the state’s iPhone carrier, has kicked off sales of the iPhone 5 today with an attractive set of prices for all versions of the handset.
GCI is selling the iPhone 5 at $149 for the 16GB model, $249 for the 32GB model and $349 for the 64GB model with a two-year contract and data plan. The contracts are listed above. The carrier also announced that it would be selling the iPhone 4S for $49, while the iPhone 4 will be available for free with a two-year contract and data plan.
iPhone 5 connects 3G and HSPA networks through GCI. The device is physically available in Alaska at GCI stores and online at www.gci.com.
