This past Friday marked a milestone for Apple whose CEO confirmed record iPhone sales in China in what is the fastest international rollout ever for the company.
Chinese customers bought 2 million phones in three days, Cupertino confirmed. Dozens more countries also received shipments of the elusive handset, leaving us guessing just how many iPhones Apple has moved this past weekend alone. One thing is for sure, though – that number is clearly high.
Per Apple’s official announcement, this next Friday, December 21, iPhone 5 will roll out in Barbados, Botswana, Cameroon, Central African Republic, Egypt, Guinea, Ivory Coast, Kenya, Madagascar, Mali, Mauritius, Morocco, Niger, Senegal, St. Kitts, St. Lucia, St. Vincent & the Grenadines, Tunisia, Uganda and Vietnam.
