There have been a load of rumors regarding the availability of a new iPhone model sometime this year, and all seem to be converging towards the same point, namely that the device might be unveiled in September.

Some of the latest reports on the matter suggest that wireless carrier AT&T is gearing up for the release of the next Apple iPhone in September as well, in line with previous reports.

Apparently, the wireless carrier has already started the preparations for iPhone 5's arrival, and that it has already begun informing employees that the smartphone is on its way to shelves.

As usual, there will be employee training on the new device, but the wireless carrier might be set to complete it as soon as possible.

Rumor has it that AT&T is expecting a great deal of customers to step inside its shops to purchase the new device, and that it is pushing managers to finish employee training as soon as possible.

Moreover, Apple is rumored to plan getting more Apple Store staff so as to get ready for the launch of the new device around the same time.

The Cupertino-based company might be set to announce the new device sometime in August, while planning on bringing it to shelves as soon as September.

In addition to AT&T, Verizon is another wireless carrier making preparations for the release of the new Apple iPhone.

The carrier already said that it is expecting the release of the new device sometime in fall, in line with what other reports suggested.

Moreover, some of the previous rumors on the new iPhone suggested that the device might be launched via other wireless carriers in the US as well, including Sprint and T-Mobile.

Basically, Apple might launch the first iPhone with global connectivity this fall, just as some analysts predicted. However, nothing is official on this for the time being.
