Shortly after Infibeam announced it would be among the first major retailers to offer Apple’s iPhone 5 in India, major carrier Aircel made a similar statement.

Obviously, Aircel will be the first Indian operator to carry the newest iPhone device. The carrier has just teased the upcoming availability of the smartphone on its official site.

According to Apple, iPhone 5 is expected to arrive in India on November 2, though we don’t have any details in its availability at Aircel.

There's no info on price tag either, but we expect more on Aircel iPhone 5 pricing options to emerge in the following days, so stay tuned for updates on the matter.

In other news, Apple fans can also pre-order the iPhone 5 via Infibeam, but they are required to pay a Rs 5,000 (95 USD or 70 EUR) booking fee.
