Apple's new iPhone 4S device might be released on the market in Taiwan before the end of this year, as the National Communications Commission (NCC) in the country has just approved it for use.

This means that wireless carriers in Taiwan would be able to add the new device to their offerings even before November is over, or in early December at the latest.

According to a recent article on DigiTimes, the arrival of iPhone 4S may affect EBITDA (earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortization) at wireless carriers, due to heavy subsidies.

However, the demand for Apple's iconic device is expected to be high, yet it remains to be seen when it arrives on shelves in Taiwan. Apple has not made an official announcement on the matter until now.
