Walmart is slashing the prices on all its Apple offerings this holiday season enticing potential Christmas shoppers to go all-Apple for this holiday season. The latest discount is for the iPhone 4S.

Practically giving away the handset for free, United States retailer Walmart is now selling the relatively new iPhone 4S for just $49 with a two-year contract (AT&T, Verizon, Sprint).

The offer is available only in brick and mortar stores, so you can’t hook yourself up with a shiny new iPhone 4S online.

Walmart is offering similar (or even greater) discounts on the iPhone 5 and the third-generation iPad with Retina display.

The iPhone 4S is the first Apple device to ship with Siri, the digital assistant that does things just by asking it with your voice. The aforementioned price is for the 16GB version of the handset.
