Apple has just announced that China will be getting its newest and most amazing iPhone yet, next Friday, January 13. Additional territories are scheduled to receive shipments as well.

According to the official announcement, “…iPhone 4S, the most amazing iPhone yet, will be available in China and 21 additional countries on Friday, January 13.”

The other 21 territories are Anguilla, Antigua and Barbuda, Bolivia, Botswana, British Virgin Islands, Cameroon, Cayman Islands, Central African Republic, China, Dominica, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, Grenada, Guam, Guinea Conakry, Ivory Coast, Jamaica, Kenya, Madagascar, Mali, Mauritius, Niger, Senegal, St. Vincent and The Grenadines, Trinidad and Tobago, Turks and Caicos and Uganda.

Apple didn’t miss this opportunity to tout the key features of their newest iPhone, including the dual-core A5 chip, the powerful graphics, the new camera with advanced optics, full 1080p HD resolution video recording, and Siri, the popular personal assistant.

“iPhone 4S comes with iOS 5, the world’s most advanced mobile operating system with over 200 new features,” Apple adds.

In response to the overwhelming demand from China, Tim Cook, Apple’s CEO, said: “Customer response to our products in China has been off the charts. With the launch in China next week, iPhone 4S will be available in over 90 countries making this our fastest iPhone rollout ever.”

Apple will be shipping the iPhone 4S in black and white in all countries, as well as in all three storage configurations (16GB, 32GB, and 64GB).

The phone will be sold through the Apple Online Store, Apple’s retail stores and select Apple Authorized Resellers, as well as the operators who sign with Apple to distribute the handset.

For price reference, the low-end 16GB model (black/white) sells for $199 with a new, two-year contract in the U.S.
