Canada is about to get its hands on Apple’s latest marvel, with the company introducing iPhone 4 on July 30, selling it at full price unlocked, or on-contract from all four major Canadian carriers, according to recent findings.

iLounge has been able to confirm with Apple that the Apple Store Eaton Centre in Toronto will be opening its doors to eager customers at 7:00 a.m., this Friday. The Apple Store Fairview will also be opening at 7:00 a.m., indicating that all Canadian Apple Stores may see an early opening. The site was told that no personal shopping appointments or pre-reservations will be offered. Customers will be treated on a first-come first-serve basis.

Days ago, Apple started offering up some valuable information at its Canadian online store. Those planning to purchase their new iPhone learned that day they had a choice of carriers in the territory, by opting for the “commitment-free” method. Carriers including Bell, Rogers and TELUS have confirmed support for the micro-SIM standard, and, implicitly Apple’s new iPhone 4, as reported by Softpedia on July 27. Addressing potential Canadian iPhone 4 buyers, Apple posted the following details on its web store:

"Buy your iPhone from Apple commitment-free.

It works with the carrier of your choice.

Buy your iPhone from the Apple Online Store and choose your own GSM carrier. You can change carriers at any time. It’s easy to set up.

Get a compatible SIM (iPhone 3GS) or micro-SIM card (iPhone 4) and select a plan from the carrier of your choice. Then insert the card and set up your iPhone using iTunes on your Mac or PC. With a few clicks, you can start making calls. It works internationally.

Because this iPhone is commitment-free, you can purchase a micro-SIM or SIM card and service from a local carrier at your destination. Or check with your home carrier regarding international roaming charges."

Apple is on track to launch the iPhone 4 in Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, Denmark, Finland, Hong Kong, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Norway, New Zealand, Singapore, Spain, Sweden and Switzerland this Friday. The device is currently available in France, Germany, Japan, the UK and the US, and will be released in many more countries later this year, Apple said in an official statement this week. In the US, iPhone 4 costs $199 for the 16GB model, and $299 for the 32GB model, with a two-year contract from AT&T.
