We're pretty sure that the name Stuart Hughes will ring a bell with most of you, the main reason being the fact that the UK-based jeweler has launched a fairly large number of smartphone “replicas” over the past few years, whose exterior has been replaced by super-expensive, exquisite materials. Of course, these “replicas” are fully functional since their inside has remained pretty much unchanged, the original units being factory unlocked versions of the smartphones we're so used to seeing on a daily basis. And, in fact, that's also the case with the particular device you'll read about as follows, namely the iPhone 4 Diamond Queen Edition, which, without a doubt, is one of the most expensive handsets available out there, due mainly to the very precious materials it's built from, despite packing a 32GB iPhone 4 on the inside. The phone's whole surrounding frame is encrusted with over 8.5cts of 'IF' flawlwess diamonds, individually set sparkling gems, while the rear section houses solid Platinum and the Diamond Apple logo. As you can see from the photos, the overall design is quite an interesting one, albeit a tad kitschy for our tastes. Also included is a luxurious hand finished wallet made from real Ostrich foot, which is not exactly the type of material you come by real easy on a daily basis. Beside featuring a slim and unique design, the wallet also offers functionality in holding up to 4 credit cards. If you do decide to go for Stuart Hughes' uber-expensive, diamond-studded iPhone 4, you'll be one of just 50 owners of the Diamond Queen Edition (yes, we're talking about a very limited run here), but you'll certainly have to pay a serious premium in order to do so, since the RRP for this handset has been set at a whopping 18,995 pounds sterling (29, 677 US dollars).
