Apple has updated its website featuring a special holiday gift card that can be acquired towards the purchase of an iPhone 3G handset.

The card, aimed at potential iPhone buyers, or those who wish to make the iPhone 3G a Christmas gift, allows customers to load any value between $25 and $2,500. The service also allows the buyer to add a personalized message, while Apple's store offers a free introduction and more customization of the device with an Apple Specialist.

As soon as the card is received, it can be redeemed at either an Apple retail store, or by setting up an account (through an online process) and visiting the store later. A message greeting visitors on the company's official website goes,
