An iPad mini sells for as low as $279 / €279 in Apple’s US and European online stores, if you don’t mind the tablet being a refurbished one.

In what essentially gives you an almost-new iPad mini, this refurb offer slashes $50 / €50 off the original asking price for the diminutive tablet computer.

Considered one of the best tablets out there (I’d say it’s downright the absolute best), the iPad mini was released in October of 2012 and sports a n 8-inch in display (diagonal), a 5-megapixel iSight camera on the back, a FaceTime HD camera on the front, 1080p HD video recording, Apple’s dual-core A5 chip, and 10 hours of battery life.

It’s basically a miniaturized version of the iPad 2 with a thinner and lighter body, as well as an overall more appealing design. Apple is rumored to be preparing a Retina-enabled model for next year.
