iPad mini Arrives Early for Some

French site igen.fr has published unboxing photos from a customer who pre-ordered his brand new iPad mini through a reseller and has received his shipment a few days early.

Apple had planned to ship the initial orders this Friday, November 2, but some customers (including the aforementioned French dude) are getting theirs a few days in advance.

Nothing too exciting to see in the actual photos. However, the images do make a great case for the tablet computer, even without any imaging effects and retouching. Put bluntly, the thing is stunning.

And, according to those who’ve held one in their hands, it’s smaller than you’d imagine based on Apple’s promos.

The shipping box holds your precious iPad mini, a Lightning to USB Cable, and its USB Power Adapter.
