Did you know that with the latest major iOS update from Apple your iPad can now bring up a split-virtual-keyboard on screen? If you did, there’s another thing about that keyboard that you might have missed.

The iPad’s new split keyboard also has “phantom buttons” for people who are used to type the letters Y, T, H, G, B and V either with their left hand, or with the right hand.

In other worlds, as the screenshot above shows, Apple is covering all bases for any potential typing preference the user might have. The buttons are invisible, but for those who use the iPad to type a lot, this will hardly pose any problems.
