Anxious to get your hands on the iPad Mini with Retina display? The good news is the device is now officially available with Verizon Wireless.

On the other hand, those who did not order the slate from the carrier might have to wait a while, because the device is currently backordered on the company’s website.

Verizon’s site shows that the Retina Display iPad Mini with Wi-Fi+Cellular has an estimated shipping date set for November 25, approximately two weeks from now.

On the other hand, the official Apple web page paints another story, showing that the Wi-Fi+Cellular version of the slate should arrive in costumers’ possession in five to ten days, if they ordered from Verizon.

As it appears at this moment, Apple will continue to have trouble meeting the demand for the new iPad Mini, especially since the holiday season approaches fast. But if you don't mind to wait a little bit, things should settle in a couple of months.

As for pricing, the new iPad Mini Wi-Fi+Cellular model starts at $529 / €393 for the 16GB model or $429 / €319 with a two-year contract with the carrier.
