From the series of iPad mini Chinese clones, we have another one for you to spark your curiosity. As I have mentioned before Intel has slowly started to push its chips to white-box tablet manufacturers in China in an attempt to increase its revenues.

The latest tablet offerings from Haier and Ramos both have Intel chips providing the necessary life force and now another slate maker announced it was joining the party.

The Colorfly i784 D1 isn't only one of the first Chinese slates to sport an Intel chip (Clover Trail CPU+ and not Bay Trail) but it also makes for a decent iPad mini clone, due to its design feats.

The slate features a 7.85-inch IPS display with a resolution of 1024 x 768 pixels and runs with the power provided by a dual-core Intel Atom Z2580 processor coupled with 1GB of RAM, reports Notebook Italia. There are two cameras onboard (2MP in front and 5MP on the back) and a battery capable of offering up to an impressive 11 hours of life force.

The slate will ship with Android 4.2.2 out of the box in China. So far I don’t have any information whether the tablet will be available anywhere else, but it would be nice if it did, because it sells for only $160 / €116.
