Doghouse Diaries makes a funny poke at Apple’s latest marketing efforts

You don’t sell a product by telling the naked truth. It’s marketing 101, and Apple knows it. That’s why their ads show iPad enthusiasts doing the most interesting things in the world.

But the truth is most people don’t chase tornadoes, engineer wind farms, perfect sumo wrestling, or coach a hockey team. What most people do – and I don’t think you’ll find a soul to argue on this one – is go to the john.

And that’s where most of the iPad action takes place, according to Doghouse Diaries, a random comic site maintained by three guys with a keen eye on “life, love and sandwiches.” It’s a funny poke at Apple’s poetry-inspired ad, “Your Verse.”

Watch the ad if you didn’t get a chance to do so yet. The Doghouse chart will seem a lot funnier afterwards, I promise you that.
