Not so long ago Apple was bringing its latest iPad Air and iPad mini with Retina Display to the Indian market. Now it’s time for some other Asian markets to join the new iPad party.

Two of Taiwan’s major telecom carriers Chunghwa Telecom and Far EastTone Telecommunications have announced they will be offering the iPad Air and second-gen iPad mini in the country starting December 16, reports DigiTimes.

Of course, the two companies are offering the devices bundled with various contracts, to sweeten the deal. The two carriers are awarding the 16GB iPad Air with for $473 / €345 on a two-year contract or for $405 / €295 on a three-year contract.

As for the iPad mini with Retina display, the 16GB model will be made available for $391 / €285 with a two-year contract and $324 / €236 with a three-year contract from Chunghwa.

At Far EastTone, prices are a little tweaked, with the same model costing $388 / €283 on a two-year contract and $320 / €233 on a three-year contract.
