Over time, the guys over at XtremeMac have managed to come up with a full range of protective cases designed specifically for the various iOS devices that have made their way onto the market, so it shouldn't come as much of a surprise the fact that they've also outed a couple of new iPad 2 models as well.

Now, given the fact that the design differences between the original iPad and the iPad 2, while noticeable, are not really that extensive, it shouldn't come as much of a surprise that the new iPad 2 cases are, in fact, adapted versions of some of XtremeMac's protective cases for the original iPad, such as the Tuffwrap Shine, Microshield and Thin Sleeve cases, all of which come in a variety of shiny, eye-catching colors.

The first product from XtremeMac's iPad 2 lineup that we'll talk about is the Tuffwrap Shine, a form-fitting case that's been manufactured from durable, yet comfortable and soft materials, and beside protecting the tablet, it also grants users fast and easy access to all of its controls and connectors.

Next in line comes the Microshield model, that, despite being manufactured from a hard plastic material (designed to protect the iPad 2 against scratches and dust), is actually super thin, and offers a very good level of grip while in use.

Since we're on the topic of thin protective cases, we'll move to the next item in XtremeMac's lineup, namely the Thin Sleeve, a full coverage case that will actually work equally well both with the iPad and the iPad 2, protecting the tablets stored within while in the same time sporting an integrated eject tab for the easy removal of the tablet.

The last XtremeMac product we'll mention is the Tuffshield line of iPad 2 screen protectors, that can be easily applied and removed, and is available in glossy and anti-glare finishes.

While XtremeMac has not provided any pricing details related to their new iPad 2 cases, they did reveal the fact that the new cases should become available at some point over the course of Spring 2011 (probably as soon as the iPad 2 also hits the shelves).
